Nylon Lock Nut Introduction
Nylon Lock Nuts, also known as Nylon Nut, Hex Nylon Insert Nuts, Self-locking hexagon nut. DIN982 nylon lock nut is thicker and DIN985 nylon lock nut is thinner. The inside diameter of the non-metallic locking ring is smaller than the pitch diameter of the nut thread.
When the bolt screwed into the Nylon Lock Nuts, the nylon locking ring is destroyed and the gap between the thread fit is filled, the nylon and the thread are completely extruded, and the extruded nylon produces a large rebound force on the bolt, which increases the friction , so that the bolts are not easy to loosen and play the role of anti-loosening locking.
